Participants in Oberursel learn about the U.S. education system

U.S. Education System explained in Oberursel
November 21, 2008.  35 participants braved unexpected snow and sleet to learn about the U.S. education system. Renate Vollmer from EducationUSA Frankfurt/U.S. Consulate General provided an overview of primary and secondary education (K-12) as well as college and university education. The presentation was followed by an intensive Q&A lasting more than an hour. The presentation was part of a four lecture series “Hello America! Examining the United States” organized by the “Volkshochschule Hochtaunuskreis”. Topics covered by speakers from the Frankfurt University and the U.S. Consulate are the political system, economic and financial system, education system and foreign policy.
