The Information Resource Center (IRC) provides access to comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date information on U.S society, foreign/security policy, economic affairs, political processes, and culture.

About the USA - The IRC provides background information and links on topics of particular interest for students and teachers via About the USA, a digital resource collection of information and documents on U.S. political, economic, social, and cultural processes.

Consult our Frequently Asked Questions – FAQs for information on topics such as travel to the U.S or customs.

Educational and Cultural Exchanges - In conjunction with the U.S. Department of State's EducationUSA program, the Information Resource Centers of the U.S. Diplomatic Mission to Germany's Public Affairs section offer telephone and web-based reference and referral services for information on exchange opportunities in the United States.

The IRC does not anwer visa-related questions. Please refer to the U.S. Embassy's webpage on Visas to the U.S. for further information.
