October 1, 2005. Exhibit dedicated to Photographer Julius Shulman opened in Frankfurt. The Deutsches Architekturmuseum Frankfurt openend the exhibit 'A Lifetime for Architecture: The Photographer Julius Shulman' which will run through December 11, 2005. The exhibit shows a wide selection of Shulman's work starting in the 1930s until today. The photographer, who will celebrate his 95th birthday in a few days, was present at the opening and talked about his life as a photographer. Among the speakers of the opening was Consul Scott Rauland, who thanked Julius Shulman for coming to the opening and noted the reciprocal influence of German and American architecture pointing out works of German and American architects in both countries.
