November 19+20, 2007. As part of the U.S. Consulate’s school outreach program "Meet US," Public Affairs intern Alexandra Tzovaras visited the Trifels-Gymnasium in Annweiler, Rhineland-Palatainet, and the Kurt-Schumacher-Gymnasium in Karben, Hessen, on November 19 and 20, respectively. While both themes were of great interest to students, the topic of elections in particular is appealing, as primary elections are fast approaching.
After intensive discussions with a total of hundred 12th and 13th grade students, she presented the hosting teacher with material of the consulate’s Information Resouce Center (IRC) related to the United States for the school libraries.
