The Information Resource Center (IRC) provides access to comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date information on U.S society, foreign/security policy, economic affairs, political processes, and culture.

IRC Resources
IRC resources are intended to meet the needs of government officials, journalists, researchers and others with professional level interest in the United States and related subjects. Electronic and print resources range from general reference materials to specialized collections of government documents and related material on international relations, the U.S. economy and contemporary American politics and society.

Consult our Frequently Asked Questions – FAQs for information on topics such as travel to the U.S or customs.

Educational and Cultural Exchanges - In conjunction with the U.S. Department of State's EducationUSA program, the Information Resource Centers of the U.S. Diplomatic Mission to Germany's Public Affairs section offer telephone and web-based reference and referral services for information on exchange opportunities in the United States.
