Groundbreaking for New Multipurpose Building
November 6, 2008. On November 6, 2008 construction began for a new Multipurpose Building at the U.S. Consulate General Frankfurt. Consul General Jo Ellen Powell delivered remarks, commenting that she looks forward to the completion of the structure next summer, hopefully before she departs Frankfurt. "The building will add additional space for training, public affairs events, award ceremonies, and gatherings,” Consul General Powell announced with pride.
