October 6, 2005. On October 6th, German-American Day, the City of Frankfurt and the U.S. Consulate organized for the third time an annual Youth Exchange Fair, “Hello World!” 33 exchange organizations, and six non-profit organizations and exchange consultants presented their programs at the Amerika Haus Frankfurt. More than 700 students and parents used the opportunity to pick up information materials. Presentations were given on what to consider when deciding on an organization, and on school regulations regarding spending time away from the German school. Recently returned exchange students talked about their experiences, and the Consular Section provided guidance on visa procedures. |
