"MeetUS" School Outreach at Frankfurt's Elisabethenschule
December 6th 2007. Alexandra Tzovaras, a young American intern at the U.S. Consulate General's Press and Cultural section, gave a presentation on “The United States – A Country of Immigrants” to forty-five 12th graders at the Elisabethenschule in Frankfurt. The workshop was not only part of the Consulate’s "MeetUS" school outreach program, but also part of a new cooperation with the City of Frankfurt in bringing together Frankfurt's younger generation with young Americans.  Following the talk, Ms. Tzovaras presented the hosting teacher Ms. Bechstein with some literature and materials on the U.S., provided by the Consulate's Information Resource Center.
