September 13, 2005. As part of the series ‘America meets Frankfurt - 60 years of American culture in Frankfurt’, organized by PA Frankfurt and Hessischer Rundfunk, U.S author Dawn Clifton Tripp read from her latest book ‘The season of open waters’ and showed pictures of Westport Point, the location of the novel, at Literaturhaus Villa Clementine in Wiesbaden. The head of Wiesbaden's Kulturamt, Arno Fischer, and Amerika Haus Director Scott Rauland greeted the guests. Cécile Schortmann, Hessischer Rundfunk, read from the German version of the book. The reading was a cooperation with Mare publishing house.
