American Expert discusses "China's Rise to Economic Power" with Frankfurt's Business Community

December 7, 2005. Dan Blumenthal, Resident Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C., discussed “China's Rise to Economic Power - What Is the Impact on North/Southeast Asia and Beyond?” with China experts from the Rhein-Main business community at a working luncheon at the Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce and the headquarfters of Commerzbank AG. The discussions focused on China's trade and energy policies, the strategic political implications of Chinese economic growth, and an assessment of the risks and opportunities of investing in the Chinese market.
