Douglas Bandow Analyzes U.S. Elections
November 18, 2008. Douglas Bandow, a fellow at the Competitive Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C., captivated audiences in Karlsruhe and Frankfurt with his in-depth analysis of the U.S. elections and their implications. In Karlsruhe, Bandow was the keynote speaker at a luncheon hosted jointly by the local American-German Business Club (AGBC) and the U.S. Consulate General Frankfurt. In Frankfurt, Bandow gave a public lecture co-sponsored by the Protestant Academy Arnoldshain and the Frankfurt City Library where the event took place. The 150-plus participants at the two events were impressed by Bandow’s fascinating insights into the voting patterns, the performance of the Obama campaign and transition teams and into the challenges and opportunities lying ahead of the new administration.
