November 10, 2005. AVANTI! Studying and working in Europe and Overseas. On November 10, IRC Frankfurt’s Renate Vollmer and Michael Greer from Consulate General Frankfurt’s Visa Section participated in "AVANTI! Job, Praktikum und Studium in Europa und Übersee" in Darmstadt. The fair, organized for the fourth time by the Regierungspräsidium Darmstadt, featured 22 organizations. Numerous young adults visited the information table of the Educational Information Service/Consular Section to ask specific questions on going to the United States for studying or an internship and pick up information material. The two presentations by the Educational Information Service on "Studying in the United States" and "Internships and working in the United States" drew 50 interested young adults. Overall, nearly 500 students and trainees attended the fair.
