Consul General Powell Hosts Reception for Participants of Automechanika Trade Fair
September 15, 2008. More than 150 guests attended a reception hosted by Frankfurt's Consul General Jo Ellen Powell on the eve of Automechanika, the world’s largest trade show for automotive parts on September 15, 2008. The event was sponsored by three major automobile associations, AAIA (Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association), MEMA (Motor Equipment Manufacturers Association), and SEMA (Specialty Equipment Marketing Association) and brought together U.S. exhibitors at Automechanika, international buyers, trade media and association representatives and members of the Commercial Service International Automotive Team.
