American Citizen Information Night Draws a Crowd
September 16, 2008.  Approximately 200 Americans citizens and their family members came to the Consulate to learn about the services that the Consular Section and government agencies such as the IRS, the Social Security Administration and the US Citizenship and Immigration Service offer to the local American community. Consul General Jo Ellen Powell and Consular Section Chief Lawrence Mire welcomed the attendees.  The event also featured a Community Groups Fair in which over 20 local organizations, including churches, schools and social clubs, participated. Since this is an election year, the Voter Assistance Table was very popular. If you have not yet registered to vote, the deadline for most States is fast approaching. Please click here for Overseas Voting Information. Send us your questions at GermanyACS@state.gov and find information about further services for U.S. Citizens here. | Photo Gallery
