November 8, 2007.
On November 8, EducationUSA Frankfurt's Renate Vollmer and State Departement Intern Ali Tzovaras participated in "AVANTI! Job, Praktikum und Studium in Europa und Übersee" in Darmstadt. The fair, organized for the sixth time by the Regierungspräsidium Darmstadt, featured 25 organizations offering stays abroad. More than 1000 teenagers and young adults used the opportunity to pick up information on studying and working in foreign countries. At the EducationUSA information booth, they received advice on studying and working in the States. The students were particularly interested in spending time in the States as an Au Pair or an intern. Presentations on “Going to the U.S. after school” and "Studying in the United States" drew 60 interested young adults each.
