U.S. Consulate General participates in Newcomer's Festival
October 4th, 2009.  On October 4th, Consul General Ned Alford and City Treasurer Uwe Becker opened  the ninth annual "Newcomers" Festival at the Frankfurt Römer. U.S. Citizen Services and the Public Affairs Section teamed up to inform an international audience about their services. More than 4500 newcomers visited the event and several hundred stopped by the Consulate General’s booth to learn about upcoming events, sign up for mailing lists and pick up information on the United States. Consul General Ned Alford toured the event with City Treasurer Becker and stopped by the Consulate's booth to answer a few questions personally.
